We're continuing to push boundaries and make waves

In February 2020, Emerald Waterways announced we would be bringing our award-winning service to the world’s oceans and coastlines, as we introduced Emerald Yacht Cruises and our brand new, innovative super yacht, Emerald Azzurra.

The new Emerald Azzurra is being built in Ha Long City, Vietnam, and at 360 feet in length (110 meters), will set sail from January 2022 where she will embark on 12 different itineraries across 42 dates throughout 2022. The new sailings will explore destinations including the Red Sea – Israel, Jordan and Egypt – and the Mediterranean – Greece, Croatia, Italy, France, Cyprus, Turkey and Malta. Emerald Yacht Cruises will offer guests an intimate yacht cruising experience both on board, with capacity set at just 100 guests -  and onshore, providing unrivaled access to smaller and quieter ports and harbors only small yachts can reach.

12 immersive itineraries announced

Emerald Yacht Cruises announces over 12 immersive itineraries across 42 different dates, taking in the Red Sea, Adriatic coast, and the eastern and western reaches of the Mediterranean.
 
Many of the ports you’ll visit are laden with heritage, beckoning you ashore to soak up the very best of history, culture and cuisine in southern Europe and the Middle East.

April 2020

Phase one of the build

Our time-lapse video shows construction progress of Emerald Azzurra is still on schedule, with the shipyard progressing their works on construction and pre- outfitting of hull blocks as expected.
 
Some delays in equipment delivery from Europe and China are being experienced and we continue to work with the shipyard on how to minimize impact on delivery. The entire Emerald Yacht Cruises team are excited to see the project progressing and of course look forward to this magnificent ship cruising the Mediterranean in 2022.

December 2020

Emerald Azzurra’s float out

Emerald Azzurra is floated out at The Halong Shipbuilding Company in Vietnam, marking just over a year until guests will be able to set sail on the brand new super yacht.
 
Once complete, Emerald Azzurra guests will enjoy a luxury small ship cruising experience, with the super yacht having just 50 deluxe suites and staterooms, 88 per cent which include a balcony. Other spectacular features on board will include a wellness center (with a spa, gym & sauna), three tenders and a Zodiac for shore landings, and a marina platform to allow easy access to snorkeling, paddle boarding or swimming at one of the many swim stops.

January 2021

One year to go

January 28, 2021 marks one year until the inaugural sailing on board Emerald Azzurra, The Best of the Red Sea. The region’s agreeable year-round climate allows for much off shore warm weather exploration, as well as providing the opportunity to enjoy the contemporary luxury on board your super yacht.
 
Departing from Aqaba, Jordan this roundtrip includes insightful visits to Nuweibah, Hurghada and Safaga in Egypt, as well as the resort town of Sharm-el-Sheikh, renowned for its beautiful beaches and shimmering azure waters lined with a bustling café scene. Discover Israel’s ‘window to the Red Sea’ Eilat where you will enjoy a guided tour of Timna Park and the underwater observatory where visitors are given a rare opportunity to witness the rich living world of the Red Sea. Your 8-day adventure ends back in Aqaba where you will enjoy a guided tour of the famous archeological site of Petra.
 
With the luxurious custom-design of Emerald Azzurra these fantastic ports and harbors are easily accessible. Renowned for its world-class diving and snorkeling, the Red Sea is the perfect place to make use of our Marina Platform as you take the plunge into the crystal-clear waters - this is where Emerald Azzurra will come into its own.
